In an effort to simplify the blog address and also to better specify what the blog is all about, the Holy Spirit has led me to change the name of the blog to "follow923" based on Luke 9:23 which encounters Jesus sharing with the people, "If anyone wants to come with Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me."
That is who we are as Christians. We are people who follow Jesus. Jesus says that in order to truly follow Him we must "deny" ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him. Each part of this verse is necessary. One part without the other does not equal a true follower of Jesus. Salvation is the free gift of God's grace. The evidence of that salvation is that we desire a deeper and intimate relationship with Jesus. We can only grow in our relationship with Jesus as we deny ourselves and anything else that compromises our relationship with Him.
Will you follow Him?
