Do you measure up?

That may sound like an odd question. The fact is there are many ways to answer that question in the Christian life. Jesus was teaching Hid disciples about the kingdom of heaven when he described those who will be welcomed for they are "blessed" and those who will be sent away for they are "cursed."

What is the distinction? Matthew 25:31-46 gives the answer to that question. Those who are blessed are the ones who met the needs of the hungry, the thirsty, the stranger, the naked, the sick, and those in prison. Jesus declared "Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me." But those who ignored the needs of the hungry, thirsty, stranger, naked, sick and ones in prison were not worthy of God's kingdom.

Wow!!! How do you individually measure up? How does your church family measure up?

Praying today for:
