Find Your Life

Jesus told His first disciples, "Anyone finding his life will lose it, and anyone losing his life because of Me will find it" (Matthew 10:39). Does that really add up? Finding your life is really losing your life & losing your life is really finding your life. YES!!!

True life is found only in Jesus. It is only when we lose the "me, myself, and I" from our lives will we find the "Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit" that sets us free to truly live. It doesn't take long to see self-centered behavior in people. And before we think that is just a reference to non-Christians we had better take a hard, long look into the mirror. Selfishness, along with notable others, is among the biggest sins hindering the Church of today. When silfishness takes hold of a person's life, they often don't even realize what is happened to them.

Are you willing to lose your life? Are you willing to surrender all to Jesus ? It is only when we have given everything to Jesus that we are free to truly live. We can have real life with eternal purpose right now and eternal reward when this earthly life is over. It is time to lose all for Christ - to find everything.
