There are some key phrases for us to consider today:
(1) Trust in the LORD - in a world that focuses so much on trusting only ourselves, which leads to selfishness and self-centeredness; it is important that we see that real life is found in trusting God.
(2) With all your heart - the best way to understand this phrase is to say that we are to surrender everything that we are to Jesus
(3) Think about Him - if we are thinking about God it is hard to be selfish and self-centered. When we are thinking about Jesus, we are surrendered totally to Him, and we cannot rely on ourselves but only on Him.
(4) He will guide you - Jesus promised to send the Helper, the Holy Spirit - to live in each believer for the purpose of convicting us, sealing us, comforting us, and guiding us - Jesus with us every step of every day.
