Who do people say Jesus is?
Some are likened to the first disciples when asked this very question. Those first disciples answered: "Some say John the Baptist; others, Elijah; still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets" (Matthew 16:14). People today will make statements about Jesus being a good teacher or a religious leader. Others will even say that He was a fraud or a mythical creation, devised by religious people.
Who do you say Jesus is?
Jesus is the Messiah. Jesus is the Christ. Jesus is the Son of the Living God. Jesus is Savior. Jesus is Life. Jesus is the Way of Salvation. Jesus is God. These are not just personally convictions but beliefs based on the Word of God, the work of Jesus in my life, and based on a personal relationship with Jesus.
